Learning Journal May 29

I think that I improved my English writing, but I need to practice a loot to obtain the result that I want.

I still have problems with the grammar and maybe my vocabulary is no extend enough, so when I writing something always need a dictionary close to me.

So far, I am supposing know how to write a paragraph and an essay also. The Chapter 8 is about Evaluating Effects, I think that is for me the most difficult part in this semester, when I write the third assignment I have a lot of questions, thus I am afraid that my third assignment is not good enough.

Today we have the last assignment! We need to write 30 min in class about a topic that the professor will give to us. I am a little nervous about it.

The last week I finished the correction of my Assignment 2.
I hope that the second is better than first, I need to see progress.
Yestarday also I review the Appendix C in our text book, I need to practice more the use of the connecting words, but I feel a little sad because the course is almost finish, I really like this course!!!

A little better...

This week I wrote the second version of the assignment. I am sure that I have a lot of grammatical mistakes but I feel a little better when I writing.

I think that connecting words is the best thing that I learned in this semester, but I need to write more than I do.

The web page of the Gallaudet University is very useful; I use the Guide to Transitions with Sample Sentences to write the second version of my assignment!!!

The midterms already finished. I need to sleep! The last week was exhausting...

Necesidad de mi lengua materna...

Hoy tengo ganas de escribir, pero de escribir simplemente lo que pienso y en la medida en la que lo voy a haciendo, no quiero pensar en conjugaciones que no conozco, en palabras que no recuerdo cómo se escriben o en sentimientos que se me hacen imposibles expresar muchas veces en otro idioma.
Hasta el momento en la clase estuvimos aprendiendo las bases para una redacción bien hecha, la clase es interesantísima y la profesora es muy amable y tiene métodos de enseñanza muy interesantes, lamentablemente con mis miles de problemas con las otras clases no puedo darle a ésta el tiempo que me gustaría.
Mis problemas con el Inglés son muchos, empezando desde mi desinteres e intentos de huir de todo lo que se relacionara a éste idioma por tanto tiempo...ahora estoy intentando encararlo de otra manera y aunque por supuesto aún no es suficiente, yo puedo notar un leve cambio en mi actitud que es para mí un gran avance.
En mi primer trabajo formal también me complique demasiado, lo terminé después que todo el resto y ya pocas personas pudieron darme su opinión, así que no hubo muchos cambios desde mi original a el final. Estoy un poco ansiosa para ver la corrección de la profesora.
Así van las cosas por el momento, los problemas son muchos y las soluciones deberían ser proporcionales....¨deberían¨, pero no lo son hasta el día de hoy.

Starting...

With difficulty I am starting to write this journal. I have to admit that write in English is not my specialty, but I know how necessary it is to communicate with practically the entire world.

The lasts weeks I thought about how much I love to write in Spanish, but when I have to write in English my desires disappear in a second.

This time I won’t think in more excuses. I will try.

My name is Alicia, I am 22 years old. I am from Paraguay, a country of south America.

I came to Taiwan to learn chinese and to study Computer Science and Information Engineering, this is my second year at this University.

I would describe myself as a outgoing person, broad-minded, trustworthy, and very talkative, so in other words I'm saying that I am a very sociable person.
